The spoke type load cell belongs to the force measuring sensor, which is commonly used for static measurement and dynamic measurement. Its principle is that the elastic body (elastic element, sensitive beam) will produce elastic deformation under the action of external force, so that the resistance strain gauge (conversion element) pasted on the surface will also produce deformation. After the resistance strain gauge is deformed, its resistance will change (increase or decrease), and then the resistance change will be converted into an electrical signal through the corresponding measuring circuit, thus completing the process of converting the external force into an electrical signal.
The spoke load cell has good rigidity. In order to keep the working state of the sensor stable and reduce the impact caused by external vibration, the elastic displacement of the elastomer under load should be reduced as much as possible to make it have a higher natural frequency. There shall be a simple and effective integrated structure, and the elastomer shall be as a whole as possible to prevent combined structure. Reduce the impact of loose fastening and welding deformation.
It is insensitive to the change of force position and the influence of interference force. The stress distribution in the elastomer strain sensitive area only changes with the force. The elastomer working area has good process performance, including good machining, manufacturing, pasting and sealing installation processes. With low profile structure, it is easy to install and has good interchangeability. The low profile structure can improve the anti eccentric load and make the operation stable.
Different sensors have different installation methods. Generally speaking, the spoke type load cell should have one place for fixation and one place for stress. It is necessary to ensure that the fixed section is safe and reliable, and the stressed section will not produce eccentric load. The wiring method is a common four core shielded wire, which is generally divided into four colors: red, black, green and white. The red and black are connected to the excitation power supply. Generally, the voltage of the excitation power supply is 5-10VDC. The red is connected to the positive power supply and the black is connected to the negative power supply. Green and white are connected to instrument signal, green is connected to signal+, and white is connected to signal -. There is also a thick black wire which is a shield wire and can be grounded or connected to the shell. In fact, the thick black wire is sheathed with a heat shrinkable tube on the shielding layer outside the shield cable.
